The Tucker also offers private charter options for birthdays, functions and more – suitable for a group up to 47 people.

Barefoot Sailing Adventures

Come join the Barefoot Sailing crew for a magical day sailing around the Bay of Islands. Trips depart daily from the Paihia beachfront, cruising among our beautiful marine playground aboard Kopiko. This 33ft performance catamaran is built for speed and she gets you where you want to go in comfort and style! There’s plenty of deck space to spread out and relax, so grab a bean bag and chalk up some leisure time. Enjoy a day of sun kissed skin, windswept hair, and salty smiles!

Phantom Yacht Charters

Phantom – 50ft monohull – Day sail that includes Robin’s famous home baking. This is a fabulous boat to get out and actually sail on, you can do as much or as little as you like! Take the helm and with a little help from Rick and Robin experience her race pedigree for yourself. The Bay of Islands is one of the world’s most beautiful cruising grounds. Sit back and relax, see it under sail, and get lost in the history where whalers and the native canoes once journeyed.

Vigilant Yacht Charters

Step on board this stunning 42ft classic cutter rig yacht today. You’ll be able to experience this magical place from a whole new vantage point. Built from New Zealand native timber, Vigilant offers a comfortable sailing experience.

Once on board, you’re welcome to sit back and relax. Take in the spectacular views that the Bay of Islands has to offer. If interested, have a go at hoisting the sails as well as manning the helm. Vigilant’s trips include sailing, as well as plenty of island time. They offer kayaks, snorkelling, and a fresh lunch all on board their yacht. Your crew Nik and Nat will make sure your yacht hire experience is everything you’d hoped for.

Join us for a Sailing Adventure in the beautiful Bay of Islands with a small personalised group. Our main goal is for everyone to experience a day they’ll never forget. You don’t have to be a sailor to join us but you’re welcome to take the wheel and help out.
We can instruct and show you the ropes or you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the day.
