The R Tucker Thompson is an icon in the Bay of Islands.  Operating for over 20 years, the ship is Qualmark approved and a member of the Northland Sustainable Tourism Charter. 

This fantastic day out is an interactive experience where passengers can get involved with sailing of the ship.  You can help set the sails, ride on the bowsprit, climb the rigging, or alternatively sit back, relax while the crew do all the work. 

The ship is spacious and comfortable, the friendly crew make it both a personal and memorable experience.  Morning cream tea (the best scones - tried and tested) and a delicious BBQ lunch are all included.  Your day will also include an island stopover where you can go ashore, walk & explore, swim or just enjoy the beach.

Departs daily 9.30am • Adults $99.00 Children $60.00   Carino - 50ft Catamaran - This is a great way to combine sailing in the Bay and the thrill of seeing dolphins in their natural habitat.  Learn from experienced crew to understand and appreciate the magic of wild dolphins.  Interaction with dolphins (especially swimming) is regulated by the DOC and is dependent on conditions. 

Do as little or as much as you like, help trim the sails, relax on spacious decks, watch for penguins  and other ocean birds.  At lunch time stop on a secluded beach and then enjoy a BBQ back onboard the boat, vegetarians are catered for on request and there is a fully licensed bar available.

Great photo opportunities and the chance to view abundant sea life.  Ride on the forward trampoline and enjoy the sensation of this amazing vessel.  At lunchtime, anchor at one of the idyllic islands where a traditional kiwi barbeque is provided.  Passengers can go ashore and enjoy nature walks, swimming, snorkeling, use the kayaks kept onboard or just kick back and relax.

This beautiful 42' yacht lets you explore the natural wonders of the Bay in a way you will sure to remember.  During your six hour sail you can swim, snorkel or take an interest in the sailing vessel.  Departs from Russell and includes a delicious lunch.  If you are staying in Paihia return tickets are included.

'Honfleur' is a 40ft, clipper class, Beneteau yacht which has a great layout for day sailing.  You will sail as much as possible and tuition is part of the parcel of the trip.  Troll for fish as you sail, you are welcome to take your filleted catch with you at the end of the day.

At lunch time stop at one of the many islands, go exploring, swimming and snorkeling (gear supplied).  Lunch is served onboard and consists of seafood, salad vegetables, fresh fruit and juice. 

Departs daily 10am • Adults $90.00 Children $40.00 Te Kaihau - 53ft trimaran - Enjoy fast exhilarating and comfortable sailing onboard the trimaran Te Kaihau, 53 ft x 34 ft.  Amazingly graceful on the water, very good for fair weather sailors with expansive deck and cockpit space.  Trips can be tailor made to your requirements and covet the Bay of Islands, Cavalli Islands & Whangaroa.  Extended tours are available for a maximum of 4 people, and are weather dependent, all meals are included.

An island stopover is included where you can bush-walk, beach-comb, swim, snorkel and more.  Fresh lunch and a complimentary drink is included.
