Join Coastal Kayakers on this unique and exciting sea kayaking adventure.  In one day they take you to the deserted Motumaire Island where you can lie in the sun, swim, snorkel,or sample fresh shell fish, paddle past the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds and up the Waitangi Estuary to the mysterious mangrove forest.

Spend time paddling amongst the trees as your experienced guide explains about this fascinating ecosystem as well as pointing out the different fish and bird life along the way.

For added excitement they take you to Haruru Falls where you can test your skills if you wish by kayaking under the waterfall before stopping for complimentary tea and coffee.

Snorkel gear provided, just bring swimsuit/towel, camera in a plastic bag and your lunch.

Half day tours departing daily • $75 pp  

Tours depart daily from Coastal Kayakers base on the beach front at Waitangi.  Paddle up the Waitaingi estuary and spend time exploring the mysterious mangrove forest before going right up to (and Under if you like!) the Haruru Falls.

Enjoy a complimentary tea/coffee stop and great photo opportunity up at the falls. Experienced guides will ensure you have a safe, educational and exciting eco-tour.

This trip is ideal for every level of experience, families, school & conference groups can be catered for.

Two Day Wilderness Tours • $130 p/p  

This trip gives you the knowledge and safety of a guide for the first day of your harbour expedition.

You will experience the local history, explore the mangrove forest, and challenge the Haruru Falls, before setting up camp in the Waikare Inlet.

Day two you are free to explore the area in your own time before returning  to Waitaingi.

Minimum of 2 people, tents and cookers provided.
