They have been busy!

So, this is what happens when our amazing community gets together and wants to improve our lives. They build steps! These steps are a great addition to the Russell Waterfront and will no doubt be used all throughout the summer and winter. We applaud those involved and hope you too get to relax on them at some point soon.

Bay of Islands Walking Weekend

The famous Bay of Islands Walking Weekend is about to gear up for 2017. This year there are new walks on offer and a new headquarters at the Russell Bowling Club. Walks range from the very easy, around town in 30 mins, through to the difficult 6 hour walk across the Rawhiti backbone to Cape Brett Lighthouse. This is what the BOI is all about, getting out there and seeing, touching and feeling this beautiful part of our country. Check it out here.

This is the first entry of the Russell Info Blog!

And news just in is that the whole fleet of vehicles has been up graded by Russell Mini Tours. Yep, brand spanking new vans and coaches all round. Russell Mini Tours run the busses around the township of Russell 7 days a week and have shown over half a million passengers this quaint part of the Bay of Islands. If you need a local taxi, call them. If you have a large party to transport, call them.  Drop Michelle a line for any transport needs in the Bay of Islands.
